Happy New Year! 2020

Just like that a decade came and went! I can’t believe I’ve been playing the Animal Crossing franchise for over a decade now - 15 years! That’s pretty much half of my life. I’m even more excited to play New Horizons which is coming out in under 3 months! It’s been a while since I did anything Animal Crossing related on New Years (sadly skipped the last few years on ACNL and it’s still July in my towns, haa) so I decided to play Happy Home Designer and have a little New Years party for me and some of my villagers.

The villagers I invited to the party were Dizzy from Tinytree, and Ken, Phoebe, and Avery from Borei. I wanted to invite an equal amount of Tinytree and Borei villagers but I only have Dizzy's card from Tinytree. I dressed them up in cute party outfits!

Dizzy is trying to impress Phoebe with his weird fan dance but she doesn't notice him.
Here's the main room! Lots of food for the guests. Technically the food on the table is more suitable for Lunar New Year celebrations, but it's also what my family would eat on New Years. There wasn't a Tteokguk item so I put some tteok plate and kimbap. When I was a kid my mom would tell me that we don't age one year unless we eat Tteokguk, so I would gobble it up because I wanted to be an adult faster. Man, I don't think that way anymore!

D'aww... Dizzy is so precious.

After dinner it's party time! I also put a cake in the room because it's my best friend's birthday on New Years and I can't be there to celebrate it with her! :'-(

Dizzy immediately walked behind the DJ booth and started acting weird. He's definitely on something.

Avery is too old for this shit.
Phoebe got right up in Avery's face with her maracas to try to get him to dance. I accidentally left him on the couch for all these pictures but this room is too small for his big flappy wings anyways.

The stages of social anxiety at parties. Why are y'all crowding around me?!
After a while it was time for me to get some fresh air.

The night ended with us building a snowman!! New Years party success! Happy 2020 everyone!
